The unusual choice of a double hyphen instead of a dash reminds me of that Las Vegas mass shooting, where the millionaire shooter added a device to make this weapon sound and feel like a fully automatic weapon.
Alan, in this case the dash is an issue with the website coding. I've tried everything to make an em dash stick but it just doesn't work so I've chosen to just leave them instead of changing them to en dashes. I wish I had thought of all of this when I chose this platform to work with, but alas...
That said, I like the interpretation with this one! :)
