GRIX (they/them/MX)is a writer and artist whose work has earned numerous accolades, including Finalist for The Touchstone Award for Individual Poems (2019), Second Place in Golden Triangle Haiku Contest (2020), First Place in the UHTS Fleeting Words Tanka Contest (2019), and nomination for the Pushcart Prize (2018). Their work focuses on disability, gender, and systems from a neurodiverse perspective. They are an Associate Editor at both Sonic Boom and Yavanika Press. Shloka Shankar (she/her) is a freelance writer, editor, singer, and visual artist from Bangalore, India. She loves experimenting with all forms of the written word and has happily found her niche in Japanese short-forms and remixed poetry alike. Her poems and artwork have appeared in over 200 online and print venues, including a few dozen anthologies. She received a Best of the Net nomination in 2015 and she co-edited naad anunaad: an anthology of contemporary world haiku (Vishwakarma Publications) in 2016. Shloka is the founding editor of Sonic Boomand its imprint, Yavanika Press.
